Why We Love It

“An excellent representation of Salvadoran coffee. Full bodied and fruit-forward, El Olvido settles on the tongue with a welcomed, velvety heft, cut by a gentle, nimble acidity. Pangs of citrus and ripe cherry ring softly at the finish.” – Ted Jamison, Roaster

About this coffee

Grown in the lush, fertile soil on the slopes of Quezaltepeque Volcano, El Olvido is the work of a collaboration between farmers Ricardo Quiñonez and Agustin Rodriguez. These two neighboring lots of bourbon were carefully monitored for sugar content by El Olvido manager Jose Martinez. This careful attention to cherry ripeness translates in the cup.

This beautifully sweet offering from El Salvador offers a balanced cup, with complex fruit notes and flavors.
