Santa Teresa 2000

Why We Love It

“Sweetness explodes in your mouth with the first sip of Santa Theresa 2000. This high elevation coffee has a true clarity which brings to light wonderful acidity, and a fruit forward cup.” — Matt Ferraro, Production Roaster

About this coffee

The highest micro-mill in Costa Rica, Finca Santa Teresa 2000 was named by producer Roger Umaña Hidalgo for the farm’s extreme elevation. This lot, El Cedral, is found at the farm’s peak. Roger is a passionate producer who is constantly examining ways to improve his coffee. By bringing in agronomists, he has been experimenting with extreme cultivar diversification, processing styles, soil analysis, and has begun the long process of making his farm carbon neutral.

This white honey lot is clean and delicate with sweet notes of kiwi, cherry soda, and caramel.
