Private Group Cupping
Why We Love It
This private class is ninety minutes and is designed for students of all levels. One of our four Coffee Educator’s will lead the class through a variety of curated offerings. The class will detail a brief history of the cupping ritual, and participants will learn to assess the full sensory experience by focusing on aspects of fragrance, aroma, break, brightness, mouth-feel and flavor, and your group will leave with a better understanding of the complexity to be found within a great cup of coffee and hopefully wanting to book a brew school class to want to make better coffee.
Cupping is a worldwide practice for evaluating roasted coffee. We cup daily for green bean purchasing, quality control, education, and to develop a greater understanding and appreciation of the coffees we serve.
We can hold a private brew class just for you and four guests at our Williamsburg and West Village locations. Classes are available Monday through Saturday. You may book up to five people in this class. Classes are 90 minutes.
Terms: All brew school bookings are final sale. Like a concert or theater ticket, no refunds or exchanges will be issued if you are unable to make the class. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are more than 30 minutes late, your class will be cancelled with no refund. If you are running late, please contact the location your class was scheduled for. Please do not bring any outside food or drink and keep personal perfumes and fragrances to a minimum to allow the coffee aromas to stand out without conflict.
